St.Xavier’s Catholic College of Engineering has been established in 1998 and managed by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Kottar, Nagercoil, approved by Govt. of Tamilnadu recognized by AICTE, New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai. It is known for its time -honorable tradition of imparting quality education to the society and rendering social service without discrimination. The college is situated at a beautiful hillock at Chunkankadai in Kanyakumari District (Tamilnadu), overlooking the Nagercoil-Thiruvananthapuram Highway (NH 47). The idyllic surroundings with a vast expanse of lush green paddy fields and banana plantation, caressed by gentle breeze from the hills and the calm atmosphere of the college are conductive for academic pursuits.
